Charlie Ramsay Memorial Relay- June 2025
Carnethy Hill Running Club honoured the life of Charlie Ramsay with a 24-hour relay-style memorial round over the summer solstice. With Charlie’s spouse Mary and son Fergus in attendance, the new memorial bench which now marks the start and finish of the round was also unveiled. Over 50 runners and supporters tackled sections of the iconic Ramsay Round at varied paces, starting off in baking sun with stunning views and ending with some classic Scottish summer thunderstorm drama on the Grey Corries. As Charlie would have said “You couldn't have written the script". The event captured the spirit of community, adventure, and inspiration that defined Charlie’s life and left many inspired to support or star in future rounds.
