Future Generations on Ramsay’s Round

In recent years youngsters have been inspired to enjoy the hills/mountains by their parents or even their grandparents

9 year old Aaron Tresidder from Fort William, was inspired by his Father Es Tresidder from Lochaber A C. Es, a former male record holder for the round with a time of 16h 12m held from 06 07 2019 until 23 08 2020 where the current male record time is now 14h 42m recorded by Finlay Wild also from Lochaber A C.

Aaron and his Es decided to attempt the round over 3 days. Day 1= 12 hours, Day 2=13 hours and Day 3=16, hours this included backpacking. Es carried a huge pack and Aaron a day pack. They headed off in an anticlockwise direction, with excellent weather conditions and managed to get round well within the 3 day target duration.
